The First Annual Port Orford Water Festival was held on March 7 and 8, 2008.

The Festival’s Keynote speaker, Jane Lubchenco, spoke on her essay titled, “Lessons from the Land for Protection in the Sea: The Need for a New Ocean Ethic.”
