Meet our Community Advisory Team

The Community Advisory Team (CAT), formed in 2006, provides a formal means for Port Orford community leaders, stakeholder representatives, scientists and agency staff to advise POORT and its project partners in bottom-up efforts in ocean management, science, and marketing. Composition of the CAT is intended to be representative of the broader Port Orford community, as well as relevant agencies and scientists.

The CAT convenes quarterly. Meetings are often attended by one or two invited guests.
